About 11 lack candidates appeared for AIEEE 2012 exam. Few days prior to the result annoucement, CBSE had disclosed the ORS answer sheets for both online and offline exams without providing any official answer keys.
This has drawn flank from the students who claims that this type of disclosure of answer sheets is meaningless as they were not able to ascertain the correctness of the answers as the answer key was not provided and thus not able to calculate their scores.
Many sources pointed out that CBSE was not prepared for disclosing the official answer keys even after a month of the AIEEE exam as there was a fear factor that some of the answers being proved incorrect.
In previous years also there were many errors in the official answer keys as suggested by teachers, parents and other stakeholders in other exams including IIT JEE.
The best method suggested to check correctness of the answer keys and bringing transparency in the marking system a provisional answer key should be released first. Then based on the feedback the final answer key should be released and marking should be done.
