Instructions Drawing or Painting from Nature
(Three hours)- 33 marks
This paper is for the use of the Supervisor only, in consultation with the Art Teacher.
Attention is directed to the syllabus and to the Standing Instructions as given in the syllabus book.
The Supervisor is asked to ensure that the candidate’s name and index number, in that order, are written clearly in the top right-hand corner of the front surface of the paper.
It may prove impossible to give marks for the work unless the name and number are legible.

(Alternative Subjects)
EITHER A:
Candidates are required to make a detailed study of a half peeled ‘Corn” (Bhutta). The concentration should be on the texture of the peel, fibres and corn kenrels.
OR B:
A study should be made of any creeper or climbing plant such as morning glory, ivy, rose etc. which is growing on or against a wall. Emphasis should be given to the spreading character of the plant in conjunctions to the wall.
