Drawing or Painting from a Living Person
(Three hours) 33 marks

This paper is for the use of the Supervisor only, in consultation with the Art Teacher.
Attention is directed to the syllabus and to the Standing Instructions as given in the syllabus book.
The Supervisor is asked to ensure that the candidate’s name and index number, in that order, are written clearly in the top right-hand corner of the front surface of the paper. lt may prove impossible to give marks for the work unless the name and number are legible.
Candidates should be instructed that in either alternative, if the work is painted, the relevant part of the background must be included and, if the work is drawn, they should bear in mind the size and placing of their drawing on their sheet of paper.

(Alternative Subjects)
EITHER A:
A study should be made of a full figure of a woman with short hair. She should be wearing a sleeveless kurta and a churidar pyjama. There should be an open umbrella in her hands.
OR B:
Candidates should draw the face and upper torso of a security guard of their school in his uniform.
