Number of papers: The competition is divided into 3 exam papers : MCQ, theory and practical, conducted over 3 different days.
Medium: The language of exams is English and each leader will make translation to their own languages. Thus, each country can choose either English or their own language.
Duration: The time allotted to each exam is normally 3-4 hours.
Number of questions: There are a total of 30 questions in the MCQ test with 10 questions from each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Points for right answer: 1 point is awarded for each correct answer in MCQ test.
Unattempted questions: There are 0 points for questions not attempted in the MCQ test.
Negative marking: 0.25 points are deducted for each wrong answer in MCQ test.
