CBSE Reading Challenge 2020: Central Board of Secondary Education is organizing the CBSE Reading Challenge 2020 for the students who are studying in the 8th, 9th and 10th class. Application form of the CBSE Reading Challenge is available on the official website of the CBSE that is cbse.nic.in. Schools who are affiliated by the CBSE, they can only register their students for this challenge. This test constitutes two stages or rounds. CBSE Reading Challenge 2020
With a focus on promoting Reading Literacy among the students, the Central Board of Secondary Education is conducting a Reading Challenge. This stages held in two rounds and in the first round, there will be objective type questions and best 6 students are selected from each class on the basis performance in the first stage.

CBSE Reading Challenge 2020 Application Form
CBSE Reading Challenge is divided among the two stages that is first stage and second stage. The application form for both the stages is done differently.
For CBSE Reading Challenge 2020 First Stage
Schools which are affiliated through Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) can register its students through the official website of the CBSE that is cbse.nic.in or link provided below. The schools can register their students for the first stage only. Schools are advised to register well before the last date. Candidates can not register themselves by themselves.

For CBSE Reading Challenge 2020 Second Stage
The students who have cleared the first round, only they can register their students through logging in the online link for the second stage. Only six students are selected from each class and they are eligible for the second round registration. The schools have to pay some registration fee for the second stage.
Registration Fee: Schools which are going to register for the CBSE Reading Challenge can check the fee from the below table:

Mode of Payment: Fees is accepted only through Debit card/ Credit Card/ NEFT at the time of registration of Stage 2. Fee once paid will not be refunded.
CBSE Reading Challenge 2020 Eligibility Criteria
This is basically test for the students who are studying in class 8th, 9th and 10th. Schools must note this eligibility criteria before registration of the students. It is very important to know about the eligibility criteria for the CBSE Reading Challenge. This challenge is conducted in the two stages and the eligibility for both the stages is given separately:
For Stage 1: All the students of Classes 8th to 10th in CBSE affiliated schools.
For Stage 2: Best 6 students from each affiliated school registered after the first stage.
CBSE Reading Challenge 2020 Test
This test is conducted to check the reading ability of the students. It focus on promoting Reading Literacy among the students. The test is focuses upon both speed and accuracy. Students who are going to take this challenge test can see the test information from the below:
For Stage 1: The contest is going to be held initially for Reading in English. Schools can take the question papers as per the schedule. The question paper with reading tasks shall comprise 5-8 passages, each passage followed by objective type questions. The student participants are expected to complete the paper as quickly as possible. The students who answers these question correctly in short period will be selected for next stage.
For Stage 2: A computer based Reading Test will be conducted by the Board for the registered students. Only the schools that have completed the first stage shall be eligible for the second stage.
The detailed modalities of conduct of the test will be communicated to the schools that register students for the 2nd stage of the challenge.
CBSE Reading Challenge 2020 Recognition
Those students who qualify the first stage examination will go for the stage 2 examination. Students who are participated in the stage 2 examination will be issued an online participation & appreciation certificate by the Board. Best 50 performers from each Region will be issued a merit certificate. This test is very important for the students to get knowledge and in boosting their confidence. It is advised that all schools may encourage their students to participate in the CBSE Reading Challenge as it would provide learners an opportunity to practice and demonstrate their reading skills.
CBSE Reading Challenge 2020 Result
CBSE Reading Challenge is conducted in the two stages or rounds. In first round, school identifies best 6 students (2 each from classes 8th, 9th and 10th) on the basis of their performance on the assigned reading task. In case more than 6 students perform at the same level, a suitable screening test may be conducted by the schools at their own end to identify the 6 best
students. The result for the stage 2 will be informed by the schools to their students and they will get to know information from the official website of CBSE. Best scholars will be recognized as per the terms.
