Stick to the time table set for a day before the exam: Follow the time table strictly before the final day of examination. Decide in advance which book has to be picked up first for revision, which must be second and so on.

Understand the Chronology of Events: Do not cram all the years, long type answers and other important information, rather, try and understand when and how this particular event happened. Then, learn the features of the particular era and what were the outcomes after the end of that era.

Have a look at the previous year question papers: The students ready to appear for the history exam must once again go through the previous year questions. Check which topics most the short type questions and long-type questions are asked.

Use Sticky Notes to Remember Important Years: Make small notes of the years related to the important events and paste them everywhere where you will go for a day. This is done so that you can memorize it for a longer time span.

Do not forget the map practice: The students must keep in mind that maps are an important resource to score well in the examination. This is the most scoring question in the paper. So, store the visual image of the important places covered in your syllabus in your mind.
