CBSE class 12 mathematics exam has been held today, on March 17, despite widespread corona fear. The exam was successfully conducted across the nation and students attempt the exam fearlessly, carrying sanitizers to the exam hall. Overall the paper was moderate to tough in the level of difficulty. However, few questions in the exam were lengthy and tricky. As per the students, the exam was:
Overall difficulty level: The paper was overall moderate in the level of difficulty.
- The level of difficulty was similar to last year.
Question were asked from: Direct questions were asked from NCERT this time. Other than that, questions from:
- 3D were difficulty.
- Questions on probability demanded critical thinking.
- Question on ingratiation and differentiation were easy.
Section A (1 Marker) – The most difficult section was section A. 1 mark questions were balance and combination of easy and tough.
Weightage from sample paper: The weightage of the question followed in the CBSE class 12 maths paper were same as of sample paper. However, there was no question from the sample paper.
Easier than Physics: As per the students, surprising, the paper for mathematics was easier than the physics paper.
Expected Marks : Unexpectedly, most students are expected 90% marks in the Mathematics paper today. Some also claimed that they would easily score 50-60.
Chapter Wise Scrutiny of Questions : Some students reported that questions asked from Integration, Calculus and Differentiation were easier than expected.

How was the CBSE class 12 Maths paper last year?
Well as per the initial reaction of the students after the paper, they reviewed the paper as very easy. The highlights of last years analysis is given below:
Overall difficulty: Very easy and most of the students said that the paper was simple and scoring.
Length of the paper: Although the paper was easy, but it was lengthy. Especially sections c and D.
Questions came from: Most of the questions were directly asked from NCERT. However, some of the questions in the paper required a higher level of thinking.
There were more internal choices in the paper that made the students happy.
