• To be eligible, the students must have passed class 10th with Mathematics as a subject.
• Students who have passed 10th from CBSE board as well as those who have passed 10th from other boards are eligible.
• There are no qualifying marks to apply for admission in Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas in class XI (Science).

Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Class XI Admission 2020-21 Seat Intake

The science stream of each Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya has 80 seats. These 80 seats are divided into 2 sections. Each section has an intake capacity of 40 students. 50% of the total seats are reserved for girl students.

Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Class XI Admission 2020-21 Selection Procedure

The selection of candidates is done based on merit, i.e, on the basis of marks secured in class 10th. Following priority order is followed for allotment of seats to applicants.

• First preference is given to the students passed from same OAV where class 10 is upgraded to class 11.
• Next, students of other Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas within the district are considered.
• If there is a vacancy, the students of Government High Schools of the same block shall be prioritized for admission.
• In case of further vacancy, Students of Private High Schools within the block are taken into consideration.
• Next, students of Government High schools of other blocks of the district are considered for OAVS class XI (Science) admission.
• If vacancy exists, seats are allotted to students of the Private/Public High schools of other blocks of the district.

Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Class XI Admission 2020-21 Curriculum

There are following 5 subjects in class 11, each subject carrying 100 marks.

There is no alternative subject in addition to the above mentioned 5 subjects. All subjects of class-XI are continued to Class-XII without any change.
