CBSE Class X Examination Statistics

In total 1179182 candidates were registered for class X examination this year. This amounts for an increase of about 11 % candidates over that of last year.

  • Percentage of candidates Qualified for admission in Higher Classes in 2011 = 96.61
  • Percentage of candidates Qualified for admission in Higher Classes in 2012 = 98.19

Girls do better than boys. Percentage of girls qualified for admission in higher classes is 98.48 as compared to that of boys which is 97.98 .

Over all percentage of candidates qualified for admission in higher classes in Chennai Region is 99.45 which is the highest as compared to other regions.
