Odisha NTSE 2021 – 2022: Directorate of Teacher Education and SCERT, Odisha has stalled all activities of the State Level NTSE Stage 1 exam till further notice. Earlier the application form for the NTSE Stage 1 exam was released on December 03, 2021. The last date to submit the Odisha NTSE Stage – 1 application form is December 18, 2021. Candidates can apply online for Odisha NTSE Stage 1 2021 – 2022 exam from official website, which is ntse.scertodisha.nic.in.
Odisha NTSE Stage 1 2021 – 2022 exam is going to be conducted on January 16, 2022. Whereas, NTSE Stage – 2 exam will held on June 12, 2022. Each State/UT conducts its own State Level National Talent Search Examination (Stage I) for the selection of candidates for NTSE (Stage II). The State Level NTSE 2021-2022 includes the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Odisha NTSE 2021 – 2022 for Class X
The National Talent Search Examination, 2021-22 is conducted in two stages. State Level National Talent Search Examination is the stage I which is conducted by the States/UTs and National Level Talent Search Examination is stage II, it is conducted by NCERT for the qualifiers applicants of Stage I.

Candidates aspiring to give the National Talent Search Examination Test can fill up the Online Application Form by visiting ntse.scertodisha.nic.in as per the schedule. The direct link to apply online for Odisha NTSE 2021 – 2022 will be posted on this page.
After filling up the Application Form online, he/she is required to take the printout of the same and submit it in the concerned school/ Institution. Head of the institution forward it to the concerned District Education Officer. The District Education Officer will allot the Examination Centre, scrutinize and verify all the documents and put the auto-generated eleven digit roll number and validate the Online Application Form. The Admit Card will be prepared at TE and SCERT which can be downloaded by the Candidate / Institution for appearing the Examination.
Examination Fees: There is no application fee for NTSE Stage 1 examination. However, they shall have to bear their own expenses for coming and going to Examination Centre to appear at the examination.
Documents to be submitted along with the Hard copy of the Online Application Form
- Caste Certificate, as applicable, for SC / ST candidate issued by the concerned Tahasildar / Additional Tahasildar.
- Disability Certificate for Physically Handicapped candidates issued by the concerned District Medical Board.
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidate shall submit the recent certificate issued by Revenue Officer/ Tahsildar/ Additional Tahsildar.
Odisha NTSE Eligibility Criteria 2021 – 2022
Students studying in Class X during 2021-22 in any recognized schools of Odisha are eligible to appear National Talent Search Examination. They must have passed Class IX Annual Examination securing at least 60% of marks or equivalent for General, OBC and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and 55% for reserved categories (SC, ST, and PH). There shall be no domicile restriction
For ODL students: All students of Class X studying in recognized schools are eligible to appear for the Stage – I examination, conducted by the States/UTs, in which the schools are located. Students registered under Open Distance Learning (ODL) will also be eligible for the scholarship, provided the student is below the age of 18 years (as on 1st July of the particular year), the student is not employed and s/he is appearing in class X examination for the first time.
Odisha NTSE 2021 – 2022 Stage 1 Admit Card
Admit Card for National Talent Search Examination 2021 -2022 will be released online on the official website or direct link to download the same is also provided below. To download the Odisha NTSE Admit Card you need to enter the Application Number and Date of Birth. The students are must download the admit card and take a print out of it to carry during the examination. The venue, date and time of the examination are mentioned in the admit card downloaded by the students.

Odisha SCERT releases the question paper and answer Keys of Odisha National Talent Search Examination Stage 1 (NTSE) for the class X. Odisha NTSE Result 2021 -2021
Odisha NTSE Result for class X Stage-1 will be published on the official website in online mode. Candidates can check the result from the official website or directly through the link which shall be available after the successful conduction of examination. The selected candidates will be able to appear in the National Level Talent Search Examination Stage 2 conducted by NCERT
Odisha NTSE 2021 – 2022 Selection Procedure
The qualifying marks is 40% in each individual paper i.e. MAT, SAT and LCT. For reserved category, the qualifying mark is 32% in each paper as per NCERT norms. The Merit List will be prepared on the basis of the total marks secured in MAT and SAT only. Language will be treated as the qualifying subject. Marks secured in the Language Comprehension Test will not be added for preparation of merit list. There will be no negative marking in the Stage I NTS Examination.
Stage II : In Stage II examination conducted by NCERT, there will be negative marking for all papers i.e. Mental Ability Test, Scholastic Aptitude Test and Language Comprehension Test. There will be a deduction of 1/3 rd mark for every wrong answer and no mark will be deducted for un-attempted questions.

Odisha NTSE 2021 – 2022 Scholarship
There are 1000 scholarships for the entire country. Awardees of NTS Examination will receive scholarship up to Ph.D. level in Basic Sciences, Social Sciences and Commerce and Post Graduation level in Engineering, Medicine, Management and Law subject to satisfactory academic progress. The rate of scholarship is indicated below :
- Scholarship of Rs.1250.00 per month for Class XI and XII.
- Scholarship of Rs.2000.00 per month for under graduates and postgraduates.
- Amount of scholarship for Ph.D. in accordance with the UGC norms.
