The students who qualify for stage I of NTSE will be eligible to appear in the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) stage II conducted by NCERT, New Delhi. Uttarakhand NTSE Eligibility to appear at the examination:

• All students of Class X studying in recognized schools are eligible to appear for the stage – I examination, conducted by the State. There will be no domicile restriction.
• Students registered under Open Distance Learning (ODL) will also be eligible for the scholarship, provided the student is below the age of 18 years (as on 1st July of the particular year).
• They must have passed Class IX annual examination securing at least 65% of marks or equivalent (55% for reserved categories)

Uttarakhand NTSE Exam Pattern

Stage I & II: Examination at the State/UT level will comprise two papers i.e

At Stage II There will be a negative marking.
