N.B. 1. Internal choice : There is no overall choice in the paper. However, there is an internal choice in one question of 2 marks weightage, one question of 3 marks weightage and all the three questions of 5 marks weightage.

3. Questions should be set covering each unit.

PRACTICAL

There are two sections, A and B for experiments and activities. Every student is required to perform minimum six experiments and minimum three activities from each section in one academic year. For evaluation in practical examination, students will be required to perform two experiments, one from each section A and B.

A. Evaluation Scheme for Practical Examiantion :

 i) Two Experiments one from each section : 8+8=16 ii) Practical record ( experiments + activities) 5+4=9 iii) Viva-voce (experiments + activities) 5 Total 30

B. Distribution of 8 marks for each experiment :

 i) Setting up of apparatus 1 ii) Formula + diagram 2 iii) Recording of data 1 iv) Accuracy of observation 1 v) Calculations + graph 1 vi) Precautions 1 vii) Result (with SI unit) 1 Total 8
