CBSE Class 10 Results Announced
The CBSE 10th results 2014 have finally been announced at cbseresults.nic.in on 19th May, 2014 at 5 PM. The students who appeared in the CBSE Class X exam in March 2014 can now see their result online.
How to know CBSE Class 10 Results 2014 online
- Visit the results page – Click Here
- Click on “Class 10th Result“
- Go to “CBSE – Class X Examination Result“.
- Enter your roll number and date of birth and hit SUBMIT.
- The result will be displayed online after you login.
This year the class 10 results have been declared a little early as compared to last year. On May 19th, the Chennai and Trivandrum region Class 10 result has been declared. The result for all regions is to be updated by 21st May.
As per previous years, this year also the CBSE is hosting its results with the technical support of National Informatics Centre (NIC), Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Govt. of India on net. The schools can get entire school’s results by giving their school code and email-id by registering themselves on which result is required.
The official CBSE report containing the number of students appeared in the CBSE Class 10 exam, number of students who have passed and other details will be published by CBSE shortly. Last year the pass percentage was 98.76%. The pass percentage in Chennai region last year was 99.80%.
Please note – The CBSE Class 10 results are reflected as grades. CBSE has adopted the grading system in a bid to reduce pressure on students appearing for boards exams and make education a learning experience.
This is the second year since the optional board rule has been implemented. Grades have replaced marks since last year.
Schools can also get the school wise results online by downloading the results using the following details – affiliation code, school code / examination code, email address.
