KVPY Admit Card 2018

KVPY or Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna is a National Fellowship started in 1999. Run by the Department of Science and Technology. The program’s proclivity is inclined towards identifying the young talented students nationwide studying Basic Sciences and encourage them to pursue a career in researches. Indian Institute of Science (IIS) has been entrusted with the responsibility of running the KVPY program. The Department of Science and Technology is the nodal agency of the Government. IIS set up a Management Committee and a National Advisory Committee (NAC) to oversee that the program. Details regarding Examination venue and seat number is available in the KVPY admit card 2018. Candidates are required to observe the admit card carefully as all the necessary information will be printed on it. If there is any technical error in downloading the admit card, the candidates must report the matter on the numbers given at the end of this post. Candidates should check the reporting time and other details carefully. If there is no reporting mentioned on the card then try to reach at least 30 minutes before the exam commences.

3 Simple Steps to download Admit card for KVPY 2018

The candidates can easily download the admit card of KVPY 2018 by following the steps below:

#1 Visit the site kvpy.iisc.ernet.in and click on the “Download admit card from October 2018 onward.” link.

#2 Next, the candidates will be directed to the admit card downloading login.


  • In it, the candidates will have to enter Application Number and Date of Birth.
  • Then, click on the ‘Login’ button.

#3 Check and download the KVPY admit card.

Please note

  • Aptitude test and admit card is applicable only for students who have applied for streams SA, SB and SX.
  • Candidate must download and print the admit card of KVPY. The same needs to be carried to the venue on the day of the KVPY aptitude test.

Test centers

The candidates are requested to check their test centers mentioned on the the admit card. The details related to KVPY 2018 test centers can be downloaded from the brochure. If the student who is applying for KVPY 2018 fellowship has any queries regarding the test centers they may contact the authority. Please bear in mind that no request to change the test center shall be admitted or permitted in any case.

Mock Test

Students may practice for KVPY 2018 Entrance Test using the mock test facility to get familiar with the pattern of the exam. Candidates have to enter their User ID and Password to access the mock test. You also need to confirm your attendance by tick marking the box. After signing in, you can take the mock test. There is one section available for each stream. The name of the stream has also been mentioned in front of the link. It has been designed to make the students get an idea about the exam which is followed on the day of the examination. It does not mean that the students will get the same questions.
