Sainik School Bhubaneswar Admission 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Age Criteria:
Sainik Schools admit boys in classes VI and IX through an All India Entrance Examination held once in a year. Admission is made strictly in the order of merit on the basis of the Entrance Examination and medical fitness.
For Admission to class VI: Age criteria for girls and boys should be between the age of 10-12 year as on the year of admission (born between April 01, 2010 – March 31, 2012) (both days inclusive). This age limit is same for both boys and girls.
For Admission to class IX: Applicants should be between 13 and 15 years as on the year of admission and passed class VIII in a recognised school. (Born between April 01, 2007 – March 31, 2009 (both days inclusive). Candidates must note that Admission to Class IX is not open for girls.
