KVPY 2021 Result
Following is the provisional list of candidates in the order of merit, recommended for the Award of KVPY Fellowship-2020. The merit list is based on the marks obtained by the Candidates in the Aptitude Test.

KVPY 2020 Selection Process

- Aptitude Test: Firstly, all the registered candidates have to appear for the aptitude test. This aptitude test is conducted in the online mode. This aptitude test consists of two parts. The questions are asked from the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
- Interview: KVPY Fellowship 2021 will be awarded based on aptitude test and interviews will be conducted this year 2021.

KVPY 2021 Cut – Off

How is KYPY 2021 Result Calculated?
Firstly, according to the aptitude test, the scores are calculated using the marking scheme for different streams. There are 2 parts in the streams SA, SB and SX. Check the marking scheme given below

What is an All India Merit List?
After the aptitude test, a final / general merit list is published on the website. According to the final merit list admissions are sought in the fellowship. All India Merit List is prepared on basis of the aptitude test.
KVPY 2021 Interview
After the publishing of the provisional merit list of KVPY on the official website, the qualified candidates need to appear for the interview at the designated centres. Separate call letters for the interview are issued to the candidates. It can be downloaded from the official website by entering the user id and password.
At the time of the interview, the candidates need to carry the following documents with them at the interview test centres:
- Interview call letter
- Medical certificate from the competent authority
- Caste certificate (in case of SC / ST)
- Attested copy of marks card (10th for stream SA / SX and 12th for stream SB)
- A self -appraisal form
- Study certificate form (can be obtained from Principal / Head from where you are currently studying)
- Teacher Recommendation Form (in sealed envelope)

The questions that are asked in the interview range from Personal questions to General Knowledge questions. The basic questions that are asked are what are your hobbies, tell me about yourself, tell us about your friends and family. Sometimes educational topics or questions related to the subject of the particular stream are asked. Any formula from mathematics that can be applied to solve a particular question may also be asked. The interview questions vary from situation to situation.

About KVPY 2021
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana is a fellowship scheme offered by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. Through this, the students studying in class11, 12th and first year of their UG programme can register for the fellowship in Basic Sciences for the courses like B.Sc / B.S. / B.Stat / B.Math. / Int M.Sc. / Int M.S. For this fellowship, KVPY Aptitude test is conducted where multiple-choice questions from the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology are asked.

Ans. The merit lists are released streamwise and according to different categories in PDF file format. But the scores for the KVPY aptitude test and interview can be checked by entering the application number and password.
