Student can register themselves as per schedule date. Selection will be done on the base of merit in the Entrance/Screening Test of respective RPVVs. Processing Fee for Entrance / Screening Test

An amount of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty Five Only) (In Cash Non-Refundable) against the processing fee  for Entrances/Screening Test will be deposited by the applicant at the time of submission of Registration Form.

Eligibility Criteria

Students, who have passed Class IX in the year 2015 and Class X in the year 2017 from Delhi Government /Government Aided / NDMC/ Delhi Cantonment Board Schools situated in GNCT of Delhi are eligible for registration for Entrance/Screening Test seeking admission to Class-XI in RPVVs.

Stream-Wise Eligibility Criteria for Registration

Registration will be opened in any RPVV for external candidates only if there are seats available after admitting all the eligible students of its own RPVV strictly as per the Merit/criteria fixed by the Directorate or Education.

Eligibility Criteria for Registration and Entrance test for Science Stream

Minimum Grades {without (*) asterisk Mark} required for  registration for entrance/screening test.

  • Math – B 1 (Without (*) Asterisk)
  • Science – B 1 (Without (*) Asterisk)
  • English – B 2 (Without (*) Asterisk)
  • Remaining Two Subjects (Other than additional subject) – C 2 (Without (*) Asterisk)

The following Criteria will be observed for selection and admission: –

Selection of candidate for admission to Class-XI in RPVVs to be done on the basis of merit in the Entrance Test where he/she was registered.

If more than one student is eligible for admission in Science Stream for the last vacant seat then the selection will be made as per the below mention criteria:-

  • Eligible students with higher grades in Mathematics. Science and English will get higher ranking in the Merit List and admission will be offered strictly on the basis of Merit. For example, a student with A1 grade each in Mathematics. Science and English will get highest ranking in the Merit List.
  • In case of tie in spite of the above exercise, draw will be arranged.

Eligibility Criteria for Registration and Entrance test for Commerce Stream

Minimum Grades {without (*) asterisk Mark} required for  registration for entrance/screening test.

  • Math – B 2 (Without (*) Asterisk)
  • Social Science – B 2 (Without (*) Asterisk)
  • English – C 1 (Without (*) Asterisk)
  • Other Two Subjects (Other than additional subject) – C 2 (Without (*) Asterisk)

The following Criteria will be observed for selection and admission: –

Selection or candidate for admission to Class-XI in RPVVs to be done on the merit of candidate In the entrance/Screening Test where he/she was registered.

If more than one student is eligible for admission in Commerce Stream for the last vacant seat then the selection will be made for the last vacant seat as per the below mention criteria

  • Eligible students with higher grades in Mathematics. Social Science and English will get higher ranking in the Merit List and admission will be offered strictly on the basis of Merit thus formed. For example. a student with A1 grade each in Mathematics. Social Science and English will get highest ranking in the Merit List.
  • In case of tie in spite of the above exercise. the draw will be arranged.

Eligibility Criteria for Registration and Entrance test for Arts Stream

Minimum Grades {without (*) asterisk Mark} required for  registration for entrance test.

C 1 Grade (Without (*) Asterisk) in each of the five subjects (Excluding additional subject).

In addition to the above eligibility criteria, Economics and Mathematics subjects in Humanities Stream will be offered on the following conditions: –

  • Economics Subject will be offered to only those students who have secured at least 6 CGPA in his/her Class-X Exam.
  • Mathematics Subject will be offered to only those students who have secured at least C-I Grade (Without (*) Asterisk) in Mathematics in his/her Class-X Exam.

Entrance / Screening Test

All registered candidates will have to appear in an Entrance/Screening test that will be held 011the same date/time for all the RPVVs and the selection will be done on the merit in the Entrance/Screening Test of respective RPVVs. where the applicant was registered and appeared in Entrance/Screening Test.

Entrance test will consist of objective type questions to test numerical ability, mental ability, general knowledge and language comprehension.

In addition to above there will be descriptive test for Hindi & English language. (English for all the three streams (i.e. Science / Commerce / Arts) whereas Hindi for Arts Stream in addition to English Language).

Selection Process

Selection of candidate for admission to Class-XI in RPYVs to be done on the merit of candidate in the Entrance Test where he/she was registered.

If more than one student is eligible for admission in Arts Stream for the last vacant seat then the admission will be made as per following merit criteria:-

  • Eligible students with higher grades in all five subjects (Excluding Additional Subject) will get higher ranking in the Merit and admission will be offered strictly on the basis of Merit. For example, a student with A I grade each in all the Five Subjects (Excluding Additional Subject) will get highest ranking in the Merit. (Grades should be without (*) asterisk Mark)
  • In case of tie draw will be arranged
