RPVV Application Form 2021
Application Form will available on the official website. Candidates seeking admission in RPVV Class XI can register themselves on or before the last date. The applicants are advised to check their eligibility for registration before submitting the Registration form.
Processing Fee for Entrance / Screening Test
As per last year an amount of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty Five Only) (In Cash Non-Refundable) against the processing fee for Entrances/Screening Test is to be deposited by the applicant at the time of submission of Registration Form.
RPVV 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Students who have studied continuously for two years in Government/Government Aided Schools of Dte. of Edn. /NDMC/Delhi Cantonment Board Schools of Delhi and have passed Class IX in the Academic Session and Class- X in Academic Session may get themselves register offline for Entrance/Screening Test for seeking admission to Class-XI in Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalayas as per the eligibility criteria given below . At the time of registration the student will have option to choose RPVV in a particular cluster of RPVVs.
Registration may be made only in one RPVV of a particular cluster out of the 22 RPVVs if there are seats available after admitting RPVVs own students in Class XI who have passed Class X in academic year as per the admission eligibility criteria fixed by the Directorate of Education.
There will be common Entrance/Screening Test for admission to Class XI of all the RPVVs. However, there will be separate cluster-wise merit of every stream (Science, Commerce and Humanities) of a particular cluster of RPVVs depending upon the vacant seats available for external candidates.
Eligibility Criteria for Science Stream
Minimum percentage of marks required for the students who have passed Class X for registration for Entrance Test for admission in RPVV in Class XI (Science stream) is as follows:
- Mathematics: 71%
- Science: 71%
- English: 61%
- Social Science and Hindi : 51%
The selection of candidates for admission to Class XI in RPVVs will be on the basis of common cluster-wise merit of Science Stream in the Entrance Test. If more than one student are eligible for admission in Science Stream for the last vacant seat, then the selection for the last vacant seat will be made as per following criteria:
- Eligible students with higher average marks in Mathematics, Science and English in the Entrance Test will get higher ranking in the merit and admission will be offered strictly on the basis of merit.
- In case of tie, i.e. if more than one student secures same marks, then a draw will be arranged for the last vacant seat and the successful student in the draw will be offered admission
Eligibility Criteria for Commerce Stream
Minimum percentage of marks of Class X required for registration for entrance test for admission in RPVV in Class XI (Commerce Stream) is as follows:
- Mathematics: 61%
- Social Science: 61%
- English: 51%
- Natural Science and Hindi : 51%
The selection of candidates for admission to Class XI in RPVVs will be on the basis of common cluster-wise merit of Commerce Stream in the Entrance Test in which cluster of RPVVs, the student has given the preference for admission. If more than one student is eligible for admission in Commerce stream for the last vacant seat, then the selection for the last vacant seat will be made as per following criteria:
- Eligible students with higher average marks in Mathematics, Social Science and English in the Entrance Test will get higher ranking in the merit and admission will be offered strictly on the basis of merit.
- In case of tie, i.e. if more than one student secures same marks, then a draw will be arranged for the last vacant seat and the successful student in the draw will be offered admission.
Eligibility Criteria for Humanities Stream
Minimum percentage of marks of Class X required for online registration for Humanities
Stream is as follows:
- Maths : 51%
- Social Science : 51%
- English : 51%
- Natural Science : 51%
- Hindi : 51 %
In addition to above eligibility criteria, Economics subject in Humanities Stream will be offered to the students who have secured at least 55% marks in aggregate in
(excluding additional subject) in Class X Exam. The selection of candidates for admission to Class XI in RPVVs in Humanities Stream will be on the basis of Common Cluster-Wise Merit and as per the preference of RPVV given by students in the registration form for admission.
In case of a tie for the last vacant seats, i.e. same marks are obtained in Class X by a number of students for any of the three streams (Science, Commerce, and Humanities), then there will be the draw of the lot and the successful student in the draw will be offered the seats in the stream in which student has registered himself/herself for admission in Class XI.
RPVV 2021 Entrance / Screening Test
All the registered students for admission in Class XI in RPVVs will have to appear in an Entrance/Screening Test to be conducted simultaneously on the same date and time for all the 22 RPVVs. The students will appear in the Entrance Test at the RPVV where the student has given the first preference for admission in RPVV. The selection of students in different Stream will be on the basis of cluster-wise merit of RPVVs in the Entrance/Screening Test .
The Entrance/Screening test will consist of objective type questions to test the numerical & mental ability, general knowledge and language comprehension. In addition to these questions, the questions on Science and Mathematics will be asked from the students seeking admission in Science Stream, questions on Mathematics and Social Science will be asked from the students seeking admission in Commerce Stream and questions on Social Science and Hindi will be asked from the students seeking admission in Humanities Stream
In addition to objective type questions, the Entrance Test will also consist of descriptive type questions in Hindi and English languages (English for all the three streams, i.e. Science, Commerce and Humanities streams) whereas Hindi for Humanities Stream in addition to English language.
RPVV 2021 Selection Process
Selection of candidate for admission to Class-XI in RPYVs to be done on the merit of candidate in the Entrance Test where he/she will register.
If more than one student is eligible for admission in Arts Stream for the last vacant seat then the admission will be made as per following merit criteria:-
- Eligible students with higher grades in all five subjects (Excluding Additional Subject) will get higher ranking in the Merit and admission will be offered strictly on the basis of Merit. For example, a student with A I grade each in all the Five Subjects (Excluding Additional Subject) will get the highest ranking in the Merit. (Grades should be without (*) asterisk Mark)
- In case of tie, the draw will be arranged
