Manipur NTSE 2019-20 for Class X
The National Talent Search Examination for students studying in Class X is meant to identify nurture talent. The examination is conducted every year at two levels – Stage-I (State Level) and Stage-II (National Level). First Stage National Talent Search Exam (NTSE) will be conducted by States and 2nd Stage is conducted by NCERT.

Application Form 2019
The application forms will be downloaded directly from the official website (manipureducation.gov.in). Candidates are advised must ensure their eligibility and other conditions before filling the downloaded Application form. As per last year details!!
All students of Class X studying in recognized schools are eligible to appear for the Stage I examination, conducted by the State/ UTs in which the schools are located. There will be no domicile restriction. Students registered under Open Distance Learning (ODL) will also be eligible for scholarship, provided the student is below the age of 18 years (as on 1st July of the particular year), the student is not employed and s/he is appearing in class X examination for the first time.
The exam pattern is as given in table-

At Stage II There will be a negative marking in each paper.For each wrong answer 1/3rd marks deducted. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
Admit card for Manipur NTSE 2019-2020 will issue on the official website. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of Manipur or from the direct link that will be provided below by entering Application number and Date of birth. The admit card is the essential document to be carried at the time of examination. It contains specifics such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam centre details.

Answer Keys of Manipur National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) for the class X will be published by various institutes after the exam. Candidates will check the answer keys form the direct link which will activate after the examination.

Manipur NTSE 2019 – 2020 Cut Off

Manipur NTSE 2019 Important Information
- Candidate can collect the Admit Card from the District Liaison Officer concerned at least one week before the examination.
- Reach the examination center at least half an hour before the commencement of the examination; and occupy the seat that bears your Roll Number.
- Do not take calculator, mathematical & physical table or any other kind of ready reckoner to the examination hall.
- Write the Roll Number, as given in the Admit card on the Answer sheet and on the cover page of the question booklet in the space provided.
- Do not write your name in any part of the Question Booklet or Answer Sheet.
- All questions in the booklet are objective type. For each question, Four possible answers are given, but only one is correct. Your task is to find out the correct answer and mark your choice in the Answer Sheet.
- Record your answer using Pen (Blue or Black ink) only.
- During the Examination follow the instructions of the Invigilator strictly.
- Hand over your questions booklet and Answer sheet to the Invigilator before leaving the Examination hall.
Previous Year Question Papers and Answer Key
Manipur NTSE 2019 Examination Answer Key will be checked here after the exam. This is the opportunity for the candidates to get an idea of their rough scores of the examination. The question paper with answer key will be available here for getting reference purpose of the examination.Once the examination gets over, the candidate curiously waits for the release of the question papers and their answer keys. Identification of talent comprises two-stage selection process. While the individual State/UT conducts the first stage selection, the second stage selection at the national level is carried out by the NCERT.
State Level Exam: State level examination may have two parts: Part-I Mental Ability Test (MAT) and PartII Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) for nominating the required number of candidates for the second level test to be conducted by the NCERT.
National Level Exam: Only the candidates selected by the States/UTs on the basis of their screening examination shall be eligible to appear in the National level examination to be conducted by the NCERT on the Second Sunday of May each year (unless otherwise notified).
