Urdu Education Board has introduced Open Schooling System for those students who are unable to attend regular classes including drop out students and students residing in remote and distant places. Meritorious students who had to discontinue with their studies due to financial and other constraints will get the opportunity to continue with their studies under the Open Schooling System.
Urdu Education Board Time Table 2017
Urdu Education Board will conduct the following examination twice a year i.e. in June/July and December/January to facilitate the students to appear in the examination as per their convenience. If any Centre wants to become examination Centre also there must be atleast 25-30 students for appearing in the examination. Urdu Education Board will consider the request of Study Centre.

- 8th Standard.
- Secondary Examination.
- Senior Secondary Examination.
- Diploma in Urdu Teaching Course (UTC).
- Diploma in Mass Communication and TV Journalism in Urdu (DMCTJ).

Note: Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of Urdu Education Board payable at New Delhi and Form should be filled in with Black ball pen only.Eligibility
8th Standard : Eligibility : Minimum 14 years of age
Secondary (10th Standard) : Formal qualification is not required for secondary Level Course only the candidate must have attained minimum age of 14 years Or 8th class passed or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board
Senior Secondary (12th Standard) : The student must have passed secondary Examination/matriculation examination or its Equivalent Certificate from any recognized Board and 15 years of age is required. But 2 years gap is Essentially required after passing Secondary examination.
Senior Secondary course has been divided into three streams: Arts, Commerce and Science
Urdu Teaching Course (UTC) : Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board.
Diploma in Mass Communication & TV. Journalism in Urdu (DMCTJ) : Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board.
