CBSE Will Release Official JEE Main 2018 Answer Key

  • CBSE will release official answer key along with response sheets of pen and paper based exam and answer key of computer based exam at jeemain.nic.in.
  • Answer key will be available from 24 to 27 April.
  • Those who are not satisfied with the scanned responses or answer keys can challenge them.
  • In order to challenge CBSE JEE Main 2018 answer key or response, login link will be available on website.
  • Candidates can login to submit challenges.
  • Candidates also have to pay Rs 1000 per challenge.
  • Fee for challenge against answer key or responses has to be paid vide credit card / debit card.
  • If challenge is accepted by CBSE, then fee gets refunded.

JEE Main 2018 is being held on April 8, 15, 16. Officially, CBSE is releasing answer keys on April 24. In between, coaching centres release answer keys and solutions. Minimum marks required to score in JEE Main 2018 to qualify are

There are high chances of cut offs being lower this time. This is because once again IITs have increased the number of candidates who will be eligible for JEE Advanced. Last year the number of candidates that were eligible for JEE Advanced was 220000. This year it is 224000.

Another thing you should know is the top 20 percentile criteria for JEE Mains 2018.

  • Candidate should either have 75% or be in top 20 percentile in 12th class examination by respective board in order to be eligible for admission to NITs, IIITs, CFTIs.

After the exam, CBSE will send you a copy of your marked responses in JEE Main 2018 online exam. You can keep that copy safely. Questions and answer order in answer key may not be in same order as your paper, so you have to match every question.
