The prestigious scholarship exam NTSE (National Talent Search Examination) will now have more competition. Class X students will be giving the exam than class eight students. NTSE has decided to change the rules this year. After considering the proposal submitted in a meeting of State Level the Committee will be approved in the next few days.
BK Kakaria NTSE principal in charge of Rajasthan, said that the decision has been taken by NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training). The large number of students will be participating in examinations due to this change. The last date for applying for the exam is being held August 31. First stage will be held on 17th and 18th Aug 2012 and second stage on May 12 2013.
1000 students will be selected!
A thousand students of the country will be selected by the examination for scholarships. Selected students from the school during the 11th class to whole student career will get five hundred rupees every month as scholarship. This amount is also increased from time to time.
