Q.1: बादलों के आने पर प्रकृति में जिन गतिशील क्रियाओं को कवि ने चित्रित किया है, उन्हें लिखिए।
Ans : 1. बारिश रूपी मेहमान की सूचना बयार यानी हवा का नाचते गाते आकर देना। 2. मेघ रूपी मेहमान को देखने के लिए पेड़ों द्वारा गर्दन ऊंची करना। 3. हवा के झोंकों से दरवाजे व खिड़कियों का खुल जाना। 4. आंधी का चलना और धूल का उड़ते जाना। 5. हिलोरे लेती नदी को रुक कर बांकी नजर से देखना। 6. तेज़ हवाओं द्वारा पीपल का झुकना ऐसा प्रतीत होता है।मानो मेघ रूपी मेहमानों का स्वागत कर रहे हों। 7. लताओं का हवा से हिलना ऐसा जान पड़ता है मानो वे पेड़ों में छिप रही हों। 8. आकाश में बिजली का चमकना। 9. तालाब में ऐसा प्रतीत होता है जैसे वे पानी भर कर ला रहे हों। 10. झमाझम बारिश का होना। 11. कवि की कल्पना।
Q.2: निम्नलिखित किसके प्रतीक हैं ?
धूल, पेड़, नदी, लता, ताल
Ans : धूल – स्त्री, पेड़- नगरवासी, नदी – स्त्री, लता - मेघ की प्रतिक्षा करती नायिका, ताल – सेवक
Q.3: लता ने बादल रूपी मेहमान को किस तरह देखा और क्यों ?
Ans : प्रस्तुत काव्यांश में लता ने बादल रूपी मेहमान को व्याकुल नवविवाहिता की तरह देखा। बादल रूपी मेहमान का आगमन पूरे एक साल बाद हुआ है जिसके कारण लता उसको इस प्रकार देख रही है। लता ने बादल रूपी मेहमान को किवाड़ की ओट में छिप कर देखा। वे बादल के देर से आने से नाराज थी पर बिना उन्हें देखे रह भी नहीं पा रही थी।
Q.4: भाव स्पष्ट कीजिए -
(क) क्षमा करो गाँठ खुल गई अब भरम की
(ख) बाँकी चितवन उठा, नदी ठिठकी, घूँघट सरके।
Ans : (क) प्रस्तुत पंक्तियों में कवि ग्रामवासी तथा मेघ के मानवीकरण के द्वारा प्रियतमा के प्रिय के आगमन का वर्णन करता है। प्रियतमा अपने प्रिय से क्षमा मांगती है क्योंकि उसको यह लगता है कि वह नहीं आएगा परंतु वह तो खूब आया। जिस प्रकार कुल आय ग्रामवासी तड़पकर बादलों से माफी मांगते हैं क्योंकि उन्हें लगता है कि बादल नहीं बरसेंगे परंतु ग्राम वासियों का यह भ्रम टूट गया। (ख) प्रस्तुत पंक्ति में कवि ने बादलों के आगमन की व्याख्या की है बादलों के आने के पश्चात नदी मद भरे वेग से बहने लगती है तथा उसका जल साफ एवं स्वच्छ दिखने लगता है। जिस प्रकार मेहमान के आने पर गांव की नव वधुएं बाँकी दृष्टि से उसे निहारने लगती हैं तथा वे अपने घुंघट को ऊंचा कर खोल खोलकर उसे देखने लगती हैं।
Q.5: मेघ रूपी मेहमान के आने से वातावरण में क्या परिवर्तन हुए ?
Ans : मेघ रूपी मेहमान के आने से वातावरण में कई परिवर्तन हुए आकाश में ठंडी हवाएं चलने लगी जो आगे जाकर आंधी में परिवर्तित हो गई गलियों में धूल उड़ने लगी और ऊंचे पेड़ों की चोटिया तथा शाखाएं झुकने उठने लगी पेड़ों की लताएं हवा में लहराने लगी आसमान में बादल घिर गए और बिजली चमकने लगी और जोरदार बारिश होने लगी।
