Silverzone International Olympiad of Science (iOS) 2019-20 – The Silverzone Foundation has released the result of the SilverZone iOS 2019-20 for Level 1 in online mode only. International Olympiad of Science, a test of competence and proficiency in Science, is held annually at the National and International levels, based on syllabus prescribed by CBSE/ICSE and the State Boards. iOS exam conducted in the English language only in the candidate’s respective school. The exam is conducted on 2 dates. iOS 2019 – 2020 Syllabus
candidates who wish to appear for iOS must know about the syllabus and topics that will be covered in the exam. Syllabus for the iOS is published by the officials on the official website. The class-wise syllabus is provided by the officials. Also, we are providing detailed syllabus for the ease of the candidates. The syllabus is as per the CBSE/ICSE board and other state board standards. iOS exam covers the following 3 sections:
- Reasoning and Aptitude
- Scholar’s Zone
iOS 2019 – 2020 Exam Pattern
The students must know the pattern of the exam before appearing for iOS exam. The difficulty level and no of questions in the paper may differ according to the class. Candidates can check the mentioned below exam pattern or SilverZone iOS:
Language of Exam: iOS exam conducted in English Language only.
Medium of Exam: It is a Pen and paper based test.
Duration of Exam: Duration of the exam is 60 minutes
Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions is asked in the exam.
No of Sections: There are three sections in the exam i.e. Science, Reasoning & Aptitude and Scholar’s Zone.
No. of questions:
- Class 1-2: 40 MCQs
- Class 3-12: 50 MCQs.
Total marks: iOS is for a total of 100 marks.

iOS 2019 – 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to appear for the iOS must know the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Students can check the eligibility criteria from class 1st to 12th are given below:
- Students from class 1st to 12th are eligible to take part in level 1 exam.
- Students from CBSE/ ICSE and any other state board are eligible to take part in level 1 exam.
- Top 1000 Olympiad rank holders of the 1st Level from each class who score more minimum 50% marks will compete for top positions in a 2nd level examination.
- All Class 1st rank holders with minimum 75% of marks with minimum 100 students from a particular school are also eligible for the Level 2 exam.
- Olympiad 1st Rank Holders of classes 6th to 12th from the 2nd level are eligible for Level 3.
iOS 2019 – 2020 Registration
Candidates who want to take participate in iOS must read all the instructions and check eligibility criteria before filling the registration form. Candidates can get the registration form of iOS from their respective school in the form of a prospectus. Along with the application form, candidates have to pay the application form. Application form to be considered successful only after the payment of application fee. Individual applications by the students are not entertained. Check the same from the table below:
Application fee: Candidates can pay the application fee in the form of NEFT/ RTGS or the form of Demand Draft in favor of “SILVERZONE FOUNDATION” payable at New Delhi. This fee is different for Indian and international students. Candidates can check the registration fee of iOS from the given below table:

iOS Answer Key 2019 – 2020
Answer Key of Silverzone International Olympiad of Science (iOS) released after the successful completion of the examination. The class wise answer key is available on the official website for both papers. Candidates have to go on the official website and download the answer in PDF format. Candidates do not need any login credentials to download the iOS answer key. iOS answer key is provided on this page. Students can click on the link to check the same.
iOS Result 2019 – 2020
Result of Silverzone International Olympiad of Science (iOS) released on the official website i.e. silverzone.org. Students can check their iOS result from the official website. The result will be declared after the release of the final answer key. Scholarships will be provided to candidates based on their ranks and marks scored in the exam. 1st rank holder of class 12th will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 75,000/- along with a Winner’s Trophy and 1st rank holder of class 11th will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- along with a Winner’s Trophy.
SilverZone Foundation, New Delhi is the conducting body for the International Olympiad of Science (iOS). It is a non-government organization that conducts several olympiads to provide scholarships to students based on their ranks. It increases competitiveness among school children in India and outside India. At present, it conducts 10 olympiads, namely iiO, iOM, iOS, iOEL, iFLO, ABHO, SKGKO, iTHO, iSSO and iRAO. Candidates who wish to appear for the above exams have to fill the application form from the school.
