TGCET 2020: The government of Telangana conducts the entrance test and also releases the notification for admission to Class 5th for the academic year 2020-21. TGCET 2020 Application Form
In order to appear in the entrance test candidates have to fill the application form for the same. The Application form for TGCET 2020 is available on the official website. Candidates can fill the application form in any of the modes wither its online or offline mode, according to their choice. Before filling the application form candidate must first confirm that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria. One has to pay the required amount of application fee to submit the application form successfully. If any students fail to pay the application fee then the application form will be considered as incomplete.

TGCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for the entrance test candidates must first go through the eligibility criteria first and ensure that they fulfill the same. If any student found ineligible at any phase of the admission process, then the admission will get canceled. The eligibility criteria for TGCET 2020 is provided below.
The Students should be bonafide of Class VI during the academic year 2019-2020 in any Government School or any recognized school of Telangana State.
Candidates should have born between September 01, 2009 to August 31, 2011 (Age between 9-11 years as on 01.09.2020 are eligible) and 2 years exemption for SC,ST candidates. i.e Age between 9-13 years as on 01.09.2020 are eligible.(Between 01-09-2017 to 31-08-2011)
The annual income of parents of the students should not cross
- Parents of Rural areas should cross Rs. 1,50,000 per annum.
- Similarly, for Urban areas parents, they’re per annum should not exceed Rs. 2,00,000.
TGCET 2020 Admit Card
Admit Card for TGCET 2020 will be issued by the Telangana Govt., as it will conduct the exam. The TGCET 2020 admit card will be available on the official website. Candidates can download the hall ticket for TGCET by using their login credentials such as candidate login & Password/ Name and Date of birth/ Mobile number and Date of Birth. Candidates are required to carry the admit card to the exam center for verification purposes. The admit card will carry all the details related to the exam such as exam time, exam date, exam center, etc. No candidate will be allowed to enter the admit card without carrying a valid admit card.
TGCET 2020 Exam Pattern
Candidates who are interested in taking admission test for TGCET 2020, must first go through the exam pattern so that they can know the types of questions, markings better and then can prepare according to it. The section below will give an overview of the exam pattern of TGCET 2020.

TGCET 2020 Result
The result for TGCET 2020 will be declared by the Government of Telangana. All the candidates who have appeared in the exam will be able to check the result for the exam after a few weeks of conduct of the exam. Candidates will be able to check the result on the official website by entering their login details i.e hall ticket number and date of birth. All the candidates who will qualify the exam will be called for further process of admission. The notification for the further admission process will be available on the official website tgcet.cgg.gov.in.
TGCET 2020 Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the Telangana Common Entrance Test. Merit list will be prepared of the candidates who will clear the cut off criteria. Candidates whose name will be listed in the merit list will be selected for the counseling round. Candidates who scored high marks will be selected first for admission.
