Government of Telangana will release the admission notice for Admission into 5th Class for the academic year 2019-20 through Common Entrance Test. TGCET 2019 will be conducted to take admission in TREIS, TSWREIS, TTWREIS, MJPTBCWREIS. Application Form will be available to filled and duly submitted on before last date to take admission. TGCET 2019 is also known as Telangana Gurukul VTGCET 2019. Selection of candidate will be done on the basis of marks scored by the candidate in the Common Entrance Test. Interested candidates could apply by filling the application form available at the official website. Before filling the application form, candidates must ensure their eligibility. Common Entrance Test will consist of English, Mathematics, Environmental Science and Telugu. Candidates must report half an hour before at the examination center.
The Students should be a bonafide of Class VI during the academic year 2019-2020 in any Government School or any recognized school of Telangana State.
Candidates should have born between September 01, 2008 to August 31, 2010 (Age between 9-11 years as on 01.09.2019 are eligible) and 2 years exemption for SC,ST candidates. i.e Age between 9-13 years as on 01.09.2019 are eligible.(Between 01-09-2016 to 31-08-2010)
The annual income of parents of the students should not cross
- Parents of Rural areas should cross Rs. 1,50,000 per annum.
- Similarly, for Urban areas parents, they’re per annum should not exceed Rs. 2,00,000.
Government of Telangana has released the application form for TGCET 2019. Candidate have to fill the application form to take admission in Class 5th for academic year 2019-20. Application form is available at the official website. Interested candidates must ensure their eligibility before fill the application form. Candidate must submit the filled form online on or before its last date.
Application Form Fee: The candidates of all category need to pay the application fee of Rs. 100/- online.
Each question carry one mark. The question paper consist of four parts. subjects which will be asked in question paper are Telugu, English, Mathematics and Environmental Science. All the questions will be in multiple type questions. Candidates have to choose one option among them. Candidates will be allowed to complete the Common Entrance Test in 2 hours. Question Paper will consist of total 100 marks.

Admit Card for Common Entrance Test will be available online at the official website. Candidates can download it by visiting the TGCET 2019 website. Admit Card will be available few days before the commencement of TGCET 2019 Entrance Test. Admit Card will be released after successful completion of the application forms. Candidates who fill the application form on time will only get Admit Card for Common Entrance Test. Candidates can download their admit card by entering their application form number. Downloaded admit card must be carried by the candidate at the examination center. Candidate without admit card will not be allowed to take entry in the examination hall.
Result for Telangana Gurukul Common Entrance Test will be released online. Candidates can check the result of TGCET 2019 by visiting the official website. Candidates need to enter their Hall Ticket number and Date of Birth to download their result. Government of Telangana has released the result after the successful completion of the exam. Candidates who will clear the entrance test will be selected for the counselling round. After that admission will be done on the basis of counselling.
Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the Telangana Common Entrance Test. Merit list will be prepared of the candidates who will clear the cut off criteria. Candidates whose name will be listed in the merit list will be selected for the counselling round. Candidates who scored high marks will be selected first for admission.
