Maharashtra State Council of Examination, Pune holds a scholarship exam for class 5th and class 8th students. Only residents of Maharashtra are eligible to appear for this exam. Also, this exam is the entrance test for Government Vidyaniketan, Adivasi Government Vidyniketan, Vimukt caste, Nomadic Tribe Vidyaniketan.
