The Centralized Admission Process for admission to the FYJC (Std.XI) was first started in Maharashtra State in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad corporation area, in the year 1996-97. This process was aimed at simplifying the process of admission. Now in its 23rd year, the centralized admission process has been further upgraded. The Government of Maharashtra has decided to introduce the scheme of online admission to the FYJC (Std. XI), keeping in mind the interest of the students, their parents and the society.

Eligibility for FYJC Pune Admission 2019-20

  • For the admission in Std.11th (State Board), the applicant student should pass Std.10th
    or an equivalent examination with English as a subject.
  • Students passing std. X with General Mathematics subject can apply for (Arts, Commerce, Science and HSVC) any stream, but they cannot opt for mathematics in any of the streams. Those students are also not eligible for the Bifocal subjects in Science stream.
  • For admission to the science stream, student passing std. X examination (SSC) or an equivalant examination with science subject (minimum 35% marks) are eligible.

Features of online admission form

Start with Part I registration form. Here you will fill details such as school area, status, board, 10th standard or equivalent examination details, address for correspondence, reservation. At the end of form you will see “Success! You have successfully submitted your form but is not approved Please visit Guidance Centre for approval purpose”.

Then fill Part II registration form. Here you will enter marks obtained in 10th class exam, stream, order of preferences.

Quota Admission Guidelines

  • Admissions through Quota will be done at Junior college level from students who have applied through this online process only.
  • If Jr. College Guardian sanstha has running no secondary (10th) school, then the Jr. College will not have Inhouse quota.
  • Minority quota is reserved in minority Jr. Colleges, only for minority students. No minority quota in non-minority Junior College.
  • There will be reserved seats for admission in Junior Colleges under various quotas (Inhouse quota 10%, management quota 5%, Minority Quota 50%) . These quota re- served seats can be surenderd within given time.
