SoSE Result – Earlier Years
Under the old system, the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar SoSE results were announced on the DoE website – the Class 9 results for STEM, Humanities, Performing & Visual Arts and High-End 21st Century Skills were announced in July 2025 for the 2025-26 session, which was the last admission under the SoSE name.
What Happened to SoSE?
The Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Schools of Specialised Excellence (SoSE) were selective government schools of Delhi for Classes 9 to 12, affiliated with the Delhi Board of School Education (DBSE). After the Delhi Board was scrapped in 2025, the SoSE schools are being shifted to the CBSE and brought under the new CM SHRI Schools scheme. The Delhi government set up 75 CM SHRI Schools in 2025-26; they are CBSE-affiliated, declared “specified category” schools under Section 2(p) of the RTE Act, and admit students to Classes 6, 9 and 11 through the CM SHRI Schools Admission Test. For the 2026-27 session, no separate SoSE admission was held – selective admissions to Classes 9 and 11 were done through the CM SHRI test.
