VVM 2020-21
Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan is a national level, unique, App based, science talent search examination that is conducted online. The registered students will be allowed to take exam from his/her own device, namely, a smart phone (mobile), laptop or desktop from his/her home. Exam will be conducted on windows and android platforms ONLY. First level th th examination will be conducted on 29 and/or 30 November, 2020. Timing of the examination will be the same all over India

State Level Camp (SLC) for VVM 2020-21
Top 20 rankers from each class for every state are identified to participate in the one or two days State Level Camp (SLC). The camp is organised anywhere within the state. State Level Camp consists of Application Orientated Multiple Choice Questions, Hands-On Activities, Observation and Analysis, Situational Problem Solving Ability and a series of other activities. States are clubbed according to the number of students who appeared for the examination with the consideration of their geographical and cultural resemblance and convenience for the students.

VVM 2020-21 National Camp (NC)
Top two students from each class i.e. total 12 students from each state will be invited to a twodays National Camp. National Level Camp (NC) will comprise Presentations, Activities to test Scientific Understanding, Innovation, Creativity, Out of Box Thinking and Assessment of Leadership Quality. Selected students will have to bear their travel expense to attend the National Camp. No travel support for this purpose will be provided. Organisers will make boarding and lodging arrangements. Necessary details regarding venue and others will be provided to all the students
selected for participation in National Camp by the respective state coordinator(s).
VVM 2020-21 Application Form
Application Form for VVM is releasd online at the official website. Before filling the online application form, candidates are required to check their eligibility. Candidates must fill their application form correct as it is an integral part of question paper delivery, response storage, marking of response or reporting of results. There are two modes of registration. Mode of registration in both the cases will be online only.
- Individual Student Registration
- School and student Registration

In Individual Student Registration, if a student cannot register through his/her school, he/she may opt for individual registration by choosing a centre of examination from the list provided by organisers. Remember there are limited numbers of seats at the exam centres for individually registered students which will be allotted on first come first serve basis. Date for the examination will be pre-selected and students will not be allowed to make any further changes in the same. Student will have to come with his/her own device with good internet connectivity on the day and date of examination mentioned against his/her centre. The students registered through this category will be considered for evaluation based on their school address mentioned during the registration.
Registration process is over now for both Student and schools!
Whereas in School and student Registration, A fully web based option will be available for the registration of students through the schools. Schools with more than 30 registered students will themselves be the centre of examination for respective school students. It is necessary to register at least 30 students (in total) while registering in School category. Students have to follow some steps for registration.
Step 1: Appointment of School Exam Coordinator
The school Principal/authority needs to appoint the school exam coordinator and he/she will register the school and the students as per the steps given below.
Step 2: Registration of School
Enter the details of the school that will be shown as school profile on the VVM website. The entered data will be verified by VVM admin through sending OTP and an Email verification link on registered mobile and email respectively. After that school will be provided with a unique identification number, username and password. The exam coordinator will now be able to register students who wish to take up the VVM online exam after logging in the website.
Step 3: Registration of Students from School
- There will be two options with the exam coordinator to register the students:
- Online – One by one online entry of the student details.
- Offline – The coordinator enters minimal details like Name of student, Class, Gender, Email ID, Phone No. etc. in the prescribed excel format provided for this purpose. It will be an offline process, because, editable excel file (no changes in the format of file will be acceptable) is provided for data entry.
- This information will be shown as student profile on web site.
- After completion of the entries the data can be uploaded online partially or completely. If the uploading or data submission is successful he/she will be directed towards the payment page automatically.
- After the successful submission of exam fee the exam coordinator will be provided with each student’s username and password. He/she will be distributing the same to respective students. The login credentials of students will also be available in his/her school profile page as well.
- After that the job of exam coordinator is complete unless/until modification of student’s details is needed!
VVM 2020-21 Application Fee
Application fee for participation is Rs. 100/- per student. After completing the details of students and collection of fee 20% of total amount collected will be kept by the school and the balance 80% should be transferred to VVM Delhi office through RTGS/NEFT. VVM Application Fee will be acceptable only through payment gateway and online (RTGS/NEFT) & Challan payment only, NO CASH / DD / Cheque will be acceptable.

VVM 2020-21 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are requested to check that they are eligible or not for VVM 2019-20. The eligibility criteria for VVM 2019-20 is given below.
- Candidate should be Indian.
- Candidates may be boy or a girl.
- He should be a student from class 6th to 11th.
- Must studying under CBSE, ICSE, and State Boards from class VI to XI can be enrolled for this national level examination.
VVM 2020-21 Examination Pattern
There will be only one examination of 2 hours at school level with 100 multiple choice questions each weighted for 1 mark. The examination will be conducted for the Junior Group (class VI to VIII) and for the Senior Group (class IX to XI). Evaluation of student will be based on their individual performance at every level. The examination will be conducted in English and Hindi along with 9 major regional languages (which depends upon the number of applicants opting for particular regional language).

VVM 2020-21 Mock Test
To build confidence of the students and to make exam user friendly, the mock test will be conducted regularly. The registered students will get regular notifications regarding the availability of mock exams. On the specified date and time, the student can login and take the mock test. The student profile will be displayed in the top section of the Application. The profile will contain student details with photo for identification. On completion of the mock test, the student can view the results of mock test in his profile page. After verification of answers student can report to admin if he/she faces any problems in the feedback section of the App.

- School Level
- Selection : Top 3 Rankers per class will be school winners (i.e. 18 students from each School). Minimum of 10 students per class must be registered from school.
- Awards : Merit Certificates will be generated online only. Participating students can download them from their profile account after logging into it on our website. No printed copy of the same will be provided.
Level 2
- District level
- Selection : Top 3 Rankers per class will be district winners (i.e. 18 students from each district). [All the schools from that district will be part of evaluation].
- Awards : Merit Certificates will be generated online only. Participating students can download them from their profile account after logging into it on our website. No printed copy of the same will be provided.
Level 3
- State Level
- Selection : Top 20 rankers from each class from a state will qualify to participate in the state level camp. Top 3 Rankers per class will be State winner (i.e. 18 students per state). [Winners will be from students appearing in state camp].

- State Camp Participation Certificate & Memento
- State Camp Winner Certificate & Memento.
- Cash prize Rs. 5,000, Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 2,000 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd ranker per class.
Level 4
- National Level
- Selection : Top 2 winners at the state level, from each state, will qualify to participate in National camp. Top 3 Rankers per class will be National winners i.e. Himalayans, (i.e. 18 students at national level). Top 3 Rankers per class, from a zone, will be zonal winners in addition to National winners. (i.e. 18 students per zone).
