Himachal Pradesh NMMS 2026-27 – Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for Himachal Pradesh NMMS are as follows.
- The student must be studying in Class 8 as a regular student in a Government / Local Body / 95% Government-aided school of Himachal Pradesh for the session 2026-27.
- The parental annual income from all sources must not be more than ₹3,50,000 (Three Lakh Fifty Thousand).
- The student must have scored at least 55% marks in Class 7 (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates).
- Candidates under the Person with Disability (PWD) category must attach a disability certificate of at least 40%.
- The scholarship of ₹1000 per month is awarded yearly for four years (Class 9 to 12), subject to continuation criteria.
- Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, private schools, and residential schools (with boarding/lodging) are not eligible.
