Unicus Olympiad Syllabus 2021
As per the official website, Unicus Olympiad assesses students’ previous year’s studied concepts. So, the Unicus Olympiad syllabus covers the topics of the last two years of classes that a candidate has studied in. For example, Class 3rd candidates will be asked questions from Class 1 and Class 2. For the students of Class 2nd, questions from Class 1st are asked. Unicus Non-Routine Mathematics
For this subject, the marking scheme is valid for class 3rd to class 10th only. For level 1 and level 2, the marking scheme is the same.
- Duration of exam: 60 minutes for each class
- Marking scheme:
- For correct answer – 03 marks for Classic section and 06 mars for Scholar section
- Negative marking – 1/3rd marks of the question is deduced for every incorrect answer
- Total number of questions: 20 questions in each class
- Total marks: 90 marks for each class
Unicus Non-Routine Mathematics Marking Scheme
Unicus Mathematics Olympiad/ Unicus English Olympiad/ Unicus Science Olympiad
The exam for UMO comprises 70-75% weightage of the previous class and 25-30% weightage of the one before. This is applicable for class 3rd to class 11th students. For Class 2nd, the exam will have 100% weightage of Class 1st. Whereas for Class 1st students, 100% weightage is for pre-primary school.
- Duration of exam – 45 minutes for Class 1 and 60 minutes for remaining classes.
- Marking scheme –
- For correct answer – 1 marks for the classic Section and 2 marks for the Scholar section
Unicus Mathematics/ English/Science Olympiad Marking Scheme
Unicus General knowledge Olympiad/ Unicus Cyber Olympiad/Unicus Critical Thinking Olympiad
This section is designed to assess the student’s conceptual understanding of what he/she studied so far. The UGKO exam will have 70-75% weightage of the previous class and 20-25% weightage of the new before. This is for class 3rd to class 11th. For class 2nd the 100% weightage is for class 1st.
- Duration of exam: 60 minutes for each class
- Marking scheme:
- For correct answer 0 01 marks for the classic section and 02 marks for the scholar section
- Total questions: 35 questions for class 2nd, 40 questions for 3rd to 5th and 50 for class 6th to class 11th
- Marks: 40 marks for class 2nd, 50 marks for 3rd to 5th and 60 marks for class 6th to class 11th
