Students can check their result on the official website, edudel.nic.in, and edustud.nic.in. Class 9 Result 2022 for Annual Examination has been declared and also displayed by the school itself. Can I change my school after class 9 in CBSE?
Yes. Provided that the board of the candidate hasn’t been changed. Meaning that the candidates can enroll into another school affiliated into the same board, say CBSE, from the previous one. However, proper documentation – Transfer Certificate, No objection Certificate, and others, have to be submitted to the new school.
Class IX: The Stepping Stone for Class X
Class IX lays the foundation of class X. Many new chapters, such as ‘atomic structure’ in chemistry, are introduced in class IX, briefed in class X, and then broken down into subparts and studied in detail later in class XI and class XII.
Are Class 9th marks will be added to class 10th final marks?
No. The Grade Point (GP) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) for class X is based on the marks obtained in class X only, and Class IX marks would not be considered.
What is the passing criteria for Class 9th
- Student has to secure at least 33% marks out of 80 marks in the respective Subject Question Paper.
- The student also have to score at least 33% marks in the remaining 20 marks assigned to Practical/Internal Assessment
If a student of 9th class fails in one subject, can he/she be promoted to 10th class?
It depends on the number of subjects the candidates has failed to secure minimum passing marks in:
- If he/she has failed in just one subject, they would be promoted to class X
- If they have failed in two or more subjects in class IX, the would not be promoted to class X.
