Daman & Diu NTSE 2020 – 2021 for Class X
Candidates who are studying in Class X are eligible to apply for the Stage I examination organised by the State. Different events of NTSE stage-I 2020 -2021 examination for Daman & Diu will be conducted as per the schedule is given below.

Daman & Diu NTSE Application Form 2020 – 2021
The application form for Daman & Diu NTSE 2020 – 2021 can be downloaded from daman.nic.in or from the will fill by the direct link. The dully filled in Application Form and Excel Sheet Proforma in respect of concern school along with the prescribed fee.
Documents to be submitted with the Application Form:
- Xerox copy of Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC Candidate for NTS Exam.
- EWS Certificate issued by Mamlatdar, Daman/Diu for EVVS students for NTS Exam
- Caste and Non creamy Certificate for OBC Students for NTS Exam
- Disabilities status certificate from the competent authority for NTS Exam
Note: EWS certificate should be submitted on or before September 30, 2019.
Application fee – The application fee candidates need to pay is as follows-
- General Students – Rs 75
- SC/ST Students – Rs 55
Daman & Diu NTSE Eligibility Criteria 2020 – 2021
The students who are studying X Class during the current academic year i.e., 2020-21 in any recognized school in Arunachal Pradesh are eligible to appear for the above said Examination. Elaborated criteria is mentioned below:
Candidates Studying in India: Candidates Studying in India need to first qualify the Stage 1 examination conducted by state/UT government to qualify for the National Talent Search Examination conducted (Sage 2) conducted by NCERT.
Candidates Studying Abroad: Candidates of Indian Origin studying abroad of X standard can also appear for the exam. They are eligible to directly appear for the stage 2 examination. Such students should fulfill the norms of NCERT. For more information regarding the norms, students can check the official website of NCERT.
Daman & Diu NTSE Exam Pattern 2020 – 2021
The exam pattern is as given in table-
Stage I & II: Examination at the State/UT level will comprise two papers i.e

Daman & Diu NTSE Admit Card 2020 – 2021
Daman & Diu NTSE 2020 – 2021 Admit Card releases as per schedule at daman.nic.in or can be downloaded from the direct link will be provided below. The Downloaded Admit card need to be filled with the required details and get it signed by the Head of the School. Without the Admit card candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. A passport size photograph attested by a gazetted officer or Head of the school need to be pasted on the Admit card.

About two thousand scholarships are awarded for different stages of education as follows:
- Scholarship of Rs.1250- per month for Class-XI to XII
- Scholarship of Rs.2000/- per month for Undergraduates and Post-graduates.
- Amount of Scholarship for Ph.D. is fixed in accordance with the UGC norms.
Daman & Diu NTSE Selection Process
Identification of talent comprises two-stage selection process. While the individual State/UT conducts the first stage selection, the second stage selection at the national level is carried out by the NCERT.
State Level Exam: State level examination may have two parts: Part-I Mental Ability Test (MAT) and PartII Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) for nominating the required number of candidates for the second level test to be conducted by the NCERT.
National Level Exam: Only the candidates selected by the States/UTs on the basis of their screening examination shall be eligible to appear in the National level examination to be conducted by the NCERT on the Second Sunday of May each year (unless otherwise notified).
