What Is in Family and Friends? (Class 3 EVS Chapter 1)
- Bela lives with her mother, her father, her Dadaji and Dadiji, Banku Bhaiya, little Bishu and Shiru the dog.
- Families are big, families are small, families are different. A family can have a few or many members.
- Family members, friends, neighbours and relatives love us, care for us and support us.
- Animals like cows, buffaloes, dogs, parrots, cats and goats can also be part of a family. We should never hurt them.
- In a family, everyone helps with the work of the home. Grandparents, small children and anyone who is sick need special care.
- Some relatives do not live with us. They are related to us through our parents (mother or father).
