Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission Form 2022 Fee
The applicants must note that Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan does not charge any registration/application/admission form fee from the candidates.
Eligibility Criteria to Submit Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission Form 2022
KVS has fixed age limits for classes 1-10 to be eligible for registration. Age of the applicant as on March 31 of the admission year is considered for determination of eligibility. Candidates can check the age limit from the table provided below.

Note- The maximum age limits given above can be relaxed by 2 years for Differently-able children.
No age limits have been specified for candidates applying for admission in class 11 and 12. Although, the candidate must apply for class 11 admission same year he/she has passed class 10th, without any gap. Similarly, there must not be a break in continuous study after passing class 11 for admission to class 12th.
Marks Requirement: Along with the age criteria, KVS has also set minimum qualifying marks for admission to certain classes. Check the same below.
For Class 11: The candidates must have obtained minimum qualifying marks in class 10th, as described below.
Science Stream- 60% aggregate marks in 10th
Commerce Stream- 55% aggregate marks in 10th
Humanities Stream: All candidates who passed class 10th
For class 10 and 12 (non-KV students): Admission is provided to non-KV students in these classes subject to vacant seats as per discretion of the Deputy Commissioner of the concerned region. Non-KV students must fulfil the following conditions to be eligible.
- The candidate must be in the same course of studies.
- To fill Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission Form 2020-21 for class 10, a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in class 9 is required.
- Similarly, for admission to class 12, a minimum aggregate of 55% marks is required in class 11.
Documents to be Enclosed with Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission Form 2022
The candidates need to send/submit the attested copies of the following documents along with the admission form.
- Proof of age such as Birth Certificate, Transfer Certificate.
- Proof of Residence
- Caste Certificate, if applicable
- Retirement Certificate, for uniformed Defence employees
- For grandchildren of Member of Parliament or PSU employees, relationship proof of the child’s parent with MP or PSU employee is required.
- For grandchildren of KVS employee, relationship proof of the child’s parent with the KVS employee is required.
- Service Certificate with the number of transfers during the last 7 years.
