JEE (Joint Entrance Examination)
JEE- composed of JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced)- is conducted to grant admission to undergraduate engineering, architectural and planning courses (BE/B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Planning) in India. National Test Agency (NTA) holds the responsibility of conducting JEE Main whereas JEE Advanced is conducted by one of the IITs. Only the top rank holders of JEE Main who qualify the exam are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. Joint Entrance Examination is considered as one of the toughest exams in the world.
NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test)
National Test Agency conducts NEET every year to grant admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, BHMS) in India. It was earlier known as All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT). Biology (Botany + Zoology) is the primary section in this exam as half of the total questions are asked from Biology. 10+2 passed candidates with PCB stream can attempt the exam.
