Sainik School Rewa Admission 2019 – Sainik School, Rewa is a fully residential English Medium School for boys. It provides Public School education and prepares its students for the All India Senior School Certificate Exam of the CBSE and the UPSC entrance exam for entry into National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy (NA).
All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination for admission to the Sainik Schools will be held at different centres of the country under the aegis of Ministry of Defence the date is not announced yet. The entrance exam for admission to Sainik School, Rewa will be held at Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Rewa centres in Madhya Pradesh. Online / Offline applications are now invited for admission to class VI and class IX. Thereafter based on OMR based written exam, interview at Sainik School Rewa and a Medical Exam at Military Hospital Jabalpur, boys will be admitted as per merit list. It may however be noted that admission to class IX will be subject to availability of vacancies only.

Application on the prescribed form completed in all respects should reach the Principal, Sainik School Rewa (M.P.) 486 001 by the specified date. Alternatively, the candidate have to submit his application online.

Note– The Candidates should note that AISSEE 2019-20 registration will be done ONLINE. No offline registration for any school will be done this year.

For Class 6th: Boys born between 01 Apr 2007 to 31 Mar 2009 (Both days inclusive) can apply. At the time of admission candidate should have passed Class V.
For Class 9th: Boys born between 01 Apr 2004 to 31 Mar 2006 (Both days inclusive) can apply. At the time of admission candidate should have passed Class VIII.
- For SC / ST 15% / 7.5% respectively out of total seat.
- For MP state domicile 67% out of remaining seats.
- 25% seats are reserved for children of service personnel including Ex-servicemen.
- 33% Leftover seats will be available to the boys from other states and union territories in the ratio of their male population. Unutilized seats will be merged with the home state in order of merit.
The Entrance Examination for both classes will be OMR based. The question papers for class VI will be in English and Hindi,while the question paper for class IX will be in English only.
Syllabus for Entrance Examination
The standard of AISSEE for Classes VI & IX would be equivalent to that of standard V & VIII, respectively as per the prescribed syllabus of the CBSE. A few questions of a slightly higher standard may also be included.

Scholarships are awarded by the Govt of Madhya Pradesh for MP domicile boys based on parents’ total monthly income. Central Govt and MoD also award the scholarship to Defence service personnel including ex-servicemen. For SC/ST candidates of MP domicile, there is a separate scholarship scheme by Govt. of Madhya Pradesh.
