Tamil Nadu NMMS 2020 – 2021
Tamil Nadu State Level National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme examination is conducted for class VIII. Successful Candidates will get a scholarship of amount Rs. 12000/- per annum till class XII by the conducting body. The list of selected candidates will be displayed by the conducting body after the successful completion of the Exam. Candidates who are interested to participate in the Admission process for class VIII can download and fill their Application form from the official website or from the direct link which is provided below. Eligibility Criteria
- The parental income of the candidate should be less than Rs. 1,50,000/- per year (Income certificate issued by Tehsildar/Mamlatdar must be attached in original).
- The students shall have a minimum of 55 % marks or equivalent grade in Class VII examination for appearing in selection test for award of scholarship (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST students). The students should be studying as a regular student in a Government, Government-aided and local body schools.
- The student should be studying in class 8th of Govt. schools.
Admit Card for Tamil Nadu NMMS
The candidates can download it by submitting the User Name and Password. Admit card is an important document and without it, the candidates will not be allowed to take the exam. The Admit Card shall have all the information about the venue, the roll number, the date and time of the test. If any problem occurs kindly contact the concerned office of the officials.
Exam Pattern

Result
Result of Tamil Nadu NMMS 2020 – 2021 will be released after the successful completion of the examination. Candidates can go through the official website to check the result or from the link that will be provided below when available.
Cut off
Cut Off will be released after the declaration of result. The students must pass both the tests i.e. MAT and SAT with at least 40 % marks in aggregate taken together for these two tests. For the SC/ST students, this cut off will be 32% marks. We will be providing the cut off here on our page for the ease of the candidate.

Selection Process
- Each State/UT will conduct its own test for selection of students for the award of the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship. The State Level Examination may consist of the following two tests:
(i) Mental Ability Test (MAT) (ii) Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) - The students shall have a minimum of 55 % marks or equivalent grade in Class VII examination for appearing in selection test for award of scholarship (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST students). The students should be studying as a regular student in a Government, Government-aided and local body schools.
- The students must pass both the tests i.e. MAT and SAT with at least 40 % marks in aggregate taken together for these two tests. For the SC/ST students, this cut off will be 32% marks.
- At the time of selection for the award of scholarship the student must have scored at least 55% mark or equivalent grade in Class VIII examination. There will be 5 % relaxation for SC/ST students.
