Can I change my school after class 9 in CBSE?
Yes you can change your school after class 9th with the same board. You just need non objection certificate from the school in which you are currently studying and you have to submit it in the school in which you want to get admission and then the process are easy you will get admission there. But one condition is your Board will be the same, means that CBSE to CBSE and other board to same that board. So you can change the school but not the board. And you have to work hard for your class 10th scores.
What is the passing criteria for Class 9th
Schools will conduct Class-IX Examination for 80 marks in each subject covering 100% syllabus of the subject of Class-IX only. Student has to secure 33% marks out of 80 marks in each subject. Marks and Grades both will be awarded for Individual subjects.
Is Class 9th marks will be added to class 10th final marks?
No. The Grade Point (GP) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) for class X is based on the marks obtained in class X only. Grades of classes IX and X are not combined for CGPA. CGPA is allotted in class X only, and reflected in ‘Grade Sheet Cum Certificate of Performance’.
If a student of 9th class fails in one subject, can he promote the 10th class?
CBSE Examination by-laws and CBSE Circulars clearly stated that if a student fails in Class 9, the school should not progress to Class 10 and should not require any Term and Half-year exams. But, if a student fails in one subject and if the school system and head of the school allows you to reappear in the failed subject for a test, and if you qualify for that exam, school management will promote you to class 10.
