About Tripura Board
Tripura Board of Secondary Education (abbreviated as TBSE) is a state-level board of Secondary (Madhyamik) and Higher Secondary (Plus Two) Education in Tripura state. TBSE can into existence in 1973 under the Tripura Board of Secondary Education Act. No. 12, passed by Tripura Legislative Assembly. After three years of establishment that is on 1st January 1976, the board started functioning. The board is responsible for framing rules, prescribing curriculum and syllabi, and important guidelines required for the smooth running of the board.
