## What is the Importance of Marking Scheme for Class 10 Maths Subject?

The CBSE Marking scheme provides general guidelines to reduce subjectivity in the marking of Maths Subject. The answers given in the marking scheme are suggested answers. If a student has given any other answer which is different from the one given in the marking scheme but conveys the same meaning, such answers should be given full weightage.

## Important Point to remember while answer your questions for Class 10 Maths Question Paper

Maths Question Paper Evaluation is done as per instructions provided in the CBSE Class 10 Maths Marking Scheme. If you are preparing according to the marking scheme you have high chances of scoring maximum marks possible. Scoring is is not done according to one’s own interpretation or any other consideration-Marking. CBSE Marking Scheme is strictly adhered to and religiously followed.

If you attempted an extra question, answer of the question deserving more marks is retained and other answer scored out. This clarify that if you have time you should also answer extra questions so that you may have higher chances of getting maximum marks even if one question goes wrong or gets less marks.

Student is not be penalised if they do not follow the order of the section / question while answering. In questions requiring word limit, no marks are to be deducted for exceeding the word limit.
