The eligibility criteria for Uttar Pradesh NMMS 2027-28 is as follows.
- The student must be studying in Class 8 in the current session in a Government, Local Body, or Government-aided school of Uttar Pradesh.
- The student must have passed Class 7 in session 2025-26 with at least 55% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates).
- The total annual income of the parents must not exceed ₹3,50,000.
- Students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sainik School, Government residential schools, and private schools are not eligible.
