With the riots and violence hitting hard in northeast region of the capital, Delhi High Court asked Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to notify updates in the schedule for ongoing board exam. The court ordered CBSE to inform change for next 10 to 15 days. However, until now Central Board of Secondary Education has only informed that the class 12 exam due on February 27, 2020, for English elective, English elective C, and English core, has been postponed. It has only been postponed for north east part of Delhi and the new exam date will be announced soon.

CBSE may have notified about the postponed exams for tomorrow, but the HC is in disagreement with short notices and has asked the board to come up with a long term plan.
Will More CBSE Board Papers Be Postponed?
The situation in Delhi has added to the tension and anxiety among the class 10 and 12 board students. On February 26, 2020, CBSE had postponed exams in 86 schools in the violence-hit northeast Delhi. After this, the HC took charge and have asked the board to give notice for the upcoming 10-15 days too. HC believes that the students are not in the state to wait every day for the next day’s schedule. The court also added, “Look at all alternatives, especially with regard to class 12.”
If the riots continue and the situation is not brought under control then CBSE might have to postpones exam for more subjects.

If CBSE decides to postpone or make changes in the schedule for board exam for the upcoming 10 to 15 days then for the class 10 students, the below-given papers might get affected. The data below is as per assumptions based on the HC orders. No notification is provided by CBSE yet.
