Punjab NTSE 2020
State Institute of Science Education, Punjab conducted the State level Talent Search Examination for the year 2020 for class 10th students. Students studying in 10th Class in State Govt., Kendriya Vidyalyas, Navodaya Vidyalyas or any other type of recognized/ affiliated schools, situated in Punjab securing minimum 70% must for general category and 55% marks for SC/ST/ physically challenged students in 9th class annual examination are eligible.

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum 70% marks for general category and 55% marks for SC/ST/ physically challenged students in 9th class annual examination are eligible.
Examination Scheme
The exam pattern is as given in table-
Stage I & II: Examination at the State/UT level will comprise two papers i.e

Punjab NTSE Answer key 2020
Punjab NTSE 2020 Answer key is now available on the official website. After the publication of answer key, candidates will be able to check the NTSE 2020 Result from here as per official announcement.The answer key is provided as a pdf file, in which answers to questions asked in the exam are mentioned.
Punjab NTSE Result
Punjab NTSE Result 2020 will declare for stage 1. Result will consists of the list of qualified candidates along with their marks. Also, a list of overall student’s results who will appear for the exam will be released. Candidates can check the result from the official website of SCERT, Punjab or through the link that will be given below.
Reservation
- 27% scholarships will be reserved for students belonging to the OBC category (non creamy layer).
- 15% scholarships will be reserved for students belonging to the SC category.
- 10% scholarships will be reserved for students belonging to the EWS category.
- 7.5% scholarships- for students belonging to the ST category.
- 4% for Physically Challenged Group of Students,
Scholarships
On the basis of the National Talent Search Examination,(stage-2) 2000 scholarships will be awarded by NCERT New Delhi. The Amount of scholarship will be as under:
(a) Scholarship of Rs. 1250l- per month for class-XI to XII
(b) scholarship of Rs.2000/- per month for Undergraduates and Post-graduates’
(c) Amount of Scholarship for Ph.D. be fixed in accordance with the UGC norms.
Previous Year Question Papers and Answer Key
Punjab NTSE 2020 Examination Answer Key will be checked here after the exam. This is the opportunity for the candidates to get an idea of their rough scores of the examination. Selection Procedure
Identification of talent comprises two-stage selection process. While the individual State/UT conducts the first stage selection, the second stage selection at the national level is carried out by the NCERT.
State Level Exam: State level examination may have two parts: Part-I Mental Ability Test (MAT) and PartII Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) for nominating the required number of candidates for the second level test to be conducted by the NCERT.
National Level Exam: Only the candidates selected by the States/UTs on the basis of their screening examination shall be eligible to appear in the National level examination to be conducted by the NCERT on the Second Sunday of May each year (unless otherwise notified).
