Kerala NTSE 2020 –The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has released the notification for Kerala National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) 2020. The examination for stage 1 is going to be conducted on November 17, 2019. The class 10th students have to apply for the Kerala NTSE to appear in Kerala NTSE 2020 Stage 1 examination. Application Form of NTSE 2020
The application form for NTSE 2020 is available online at the official website. The amount is as mentioned in the table below and can be submitted via SBI Collect – Online Payment Gateway.

Once, the application fee is remitted, the candidates need to click on the link below and then follow the mentioned steps.
Note: Once the application form is submitted correctly, an Application ID and Application Number will be allocated to the candidates. The candidates may login the Application Form Editing login by submitting these.
Documents to be Submitted Along with the Application Form
With the application form, respective category candidates also need to send the following documents:
- SC/ST/BPL Category Candidates – Attested photocopy of the caste certificate /BPL certificate as proof.
- Physically Challenged Candidates – Attested copy of the medical certificate, from the competent authority ensure that the candidate is more than 40% PH.
Eligibility Criteria of NTSE
Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria of the examination before applying. Ineligible candidates will not be granted admission under any circumstances.
- NTSE is for those students, who are studying in class 10th, in Government/ Aided/ Recognised schools/ Kendriya Vidyalaya/ Navodaya Vidyalaya in Kerala.
- The candidates who qualified class 9, with more than 55% marks in all non-language subjects, may also apply.
- Open Distance Learning (ODL) candidates may also apply but they need to ensure that their age must be less 18 years.
The exam pattern is as given in table-

At Stage II There will be a negative marking in each paper.For each wrong answer 1/3rd marks deducted. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
Kerala NTSE Admit Card
The admit card of NTSE will be issued by the conducting body, State Council of Educational Research and Training after the successful completion of the application process. SCERT will release it online on the official website, scert.kerala.gov.in.
In last year, the candidates require to download the admit card and produce a hard copy of it. The downloaded admit card is to be carried to the exam hall. If the candidate fails to produce it, they will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
Candidates are advised to take the mock test for the preparation of NTSE examination. It helps in getting the idea of Exam pattern and also help in management of time for answering the question in the test. You can access the below link to start the mock test and study calmly.

The Answer key for the National Talent Search Exam (NTSE) will be released after the successful completion of the examination. The candidate can estimate their scores with the help of the answer key.
Kerala NTSE Result
The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Kerala will release the result of National Talent Search Examination 2020. The candidates can check the result online on the official website. The marks of the candidates in both the sections, along with the overall score will be mentioned in the result.
The Cut Off for National Talent Search Examination 2020 will declare after the examination process get over. As National Talent Search Examination announced the Cut Off for NTSE 2020 SAT, MAT and LCT it will be updated soon. Identification of talent comprises two-stage selection process. While the individual State/UT conducts the first stage selection, the second stage selection at the national level is carried out by the NCERT.
State Level Exam: State level examination may have two parts: Part-I Mental Ability Test (MAT) and PartII Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) for nominating the required number of candidates for the second level test to be conducted by the NCERT.
National Level Exam: Only the candidates selected by the States/UTs on the basis of their screening examination shall be eligible to appear in the National level examination to be conducted by the NCERT on the Second Sunday of May each year (unless otherwise notified).
