Nationwide & Scholarship Test (NEST Junior 2018) has issued a notification regarding for all the bonafide Indian students in class X, XI & XII (only science stream) or 1st Year and 2nd Year of Dip. Engg. in any school/college in India for the award of saveral scholarships worth Rs. 25,000/- to 50,000/- based on merit. Students of class IX, X, XI, XII (Science) appearing/passing out in 2018 only can apply for NEST Junior 2018. Candidates can apply online or offline for NEST Junior 2018 from the official website. If you are paying your registration fee through Demand Draft, then it must be in favour of SEMCI India payable at Mumbai. Before filling up the application form, you must have your Demand Draft ready as you need to enter your Demand Draft details at the time of registration. But, if you are making payment online, i.e. through Internet Banking, then you should keep your Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking Account details ready for online payment at the time of registration.
Please note that those candidates who are applying to participate in online test as per schedule win a NEST scholarship based on Merit. NEST do not offer admission to any class, course or training. It’s an initiative to award only scholarships.
I. NEST-JUNIOR-I: Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only)
II. NEST-JUNIOR-II: Rs. 600/- (Rupees Six Hundred only)
The last date without late fee is April 30, 2018. Thereafter, there is late fee of Rs. 100/- and Rs. 200/- will be charged.

Note : –
- There is no need for any attestation, verification or recommendation.
- Do Not attach any documents, except DD with the application form.
- Applicants can also forma a group of two or more students and drawn a single DD of cumulative amount and send all the applications together in a single envelop to save their time and money.
- Anyone who tops the list in a category cannot apply again in the same category
- It is the prerogative of the college to charge RS. 25/- per candidate as processing fee for collecting and dispatch of application to NEST office if applications are sent through school/College.
Candidates who are currently a bonafide student of class 10th, 11th or 12th(science stream only) in any school/college in India are eligible to apply for NEST Junior 2018. In other words, candidates can apply for NEST Junior category of scholarships of this year only if you are appearing in or passing out of class 10th, 11th, or 12th exam in the year 2018. It is advised that candidates read all the eligibility criteria carefully in the as mention before filling application form.
Admit card will be available to download for NEST Junior 2018 at the official website. Candidates can download the admit card by login with their credential. Admit card will be released few days before the commencement of exam. Candidates must carry the admit card at the time of examination.
NEST Junior Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2018
The syllabus for NEST Junior I is generally based on class 8 & 9 books as prescribed by the NCERT of India. However, it may also include questions based on class 6 & 7 and lower level. The content and level of questions are based on SSC and HSC books prescribed by the CBSE, ICSE and other State boards in India. However, the main focus will be on class 10 & 11 books.
The medium of test is Simple English language.

NEST Junior 2018 Result will be declared after the online test. Candidates can check their result on the official website or through the direct link which will be provided provided below. Only winners of scholarship will be informed by email / SMS. Separate result will be released for both NEST Junior I and II 2018. Result will be released in two ways i.e. according to rankwise & alphabetical wise. Candidates can check it according to their need.
Amount & Number Of Scholarships
- There are at least 10 scholarships of Rs. 25,000/- each to the top 10 scorers (Rs. 40,000/- to Rank #1) in the NEST Junior I category upto 1000 candidates. Thereafter, there is at least 1 scholarship in every 200 candidates on an average.
- There are at least 10 scholarships of Rs. 30,000/- each to the top 10 scorers (Rs. 50,000/- to Rank #1) in the NEST Junior II category upto 1000 candidates. Thereafter, there is at least 1 scholarship in every 200 candidates on an average.
Certificates: Certificate of Appreciation shall be awarded to all candidates who score aggregate of 40% and above of all the sections put together in the test. They will download their scorecard and Certificates of Appreciation from official website in the last week of May 2018.
Candidates who are going to appear in NEST Junior I & II examination can download sample papers for their practice. The Sample Question Papers are accessible to only those candidates who applied before March 15, 2017 during the period of FREE BOOK OFFER or those who paid Rs. 250/- for the book.
