Nationwide & Scholarship Test (NEST Junior 2017) has been issued from the bonafide Indian students in class X, XI & XII (only science stream) in India for the award of at least 20 (Twenty) scholarships worth Rs. 25,000/- to 50,000/- based on merit. Students of class IX, X, XI, XII (Science) appearing/passing out in 2017 only can apply for NEST Junior 2017.

Those candidates who are interested and eligible for NEST Junior 2017 can apply before the last date as per schedule mention below. Candidates who fill their application on time can download their admit card. Before applying online candidates must ensure their eligibility and other conditions. NEST Junior 2017 Result has been declared after the online test. Candidates can check their result on the official website or through the direct link provided below. Check NEST Junior 2017 Result here

Admit Card

Admit card is now available to download for NEST Junior 2017. Candidates can download the admit card by login the link given below. Exam will be held on 30 July 2017. Candidates must carry the admit card at the time of examination.

Application Form

Candidates can apply online for NEST Junior 2017 from the official website If you are paying your registration fee through Demand Draft, then it must be in favour of SEMCI India payable at Mumbai. Before filling up the application form, you must have your Demand Draft ready as you need to enter your Demand Draft details at the time of registration. But, if you are making payment online, i.e. through Internet Banking, then you should keep your Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking Account details ready for online payment at the time of registration.

Please note that those candidates who are applying to participate in online test as per schedule win a NEST scholarship based on Merit. NEST do not offer admission to any class, course or training. It’s an initiative to award only scholarships.

Application Fee

Candidate can either apply and pay fees online instantly or can download the PDF application form from the official website and send it along with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 600/- in favour of “SEMCI India” payable at Mumbai before the last date.

Thereafter, there is late fee of Rs. 100/- till 31 May 2017 and Rs. 200/- till 30 Jun 2017.

Fill up the application form correctly and completely and paste your latest photograph in the space provided on it.

Submit the Application Form
Send your filled up application form by registered post/courier attached with a DD on above mention address.

Note : –

  • There is no need for any attestation, verification or recommendation.
  • Do Not attach any documents, except DD with the application form.
  • Applicants can also forma a group of two or more students and drawn a single DD of cumulative amount and send all the applications together in a single envelop to save their time and money.
  • Anyone who tops the list in a category cannot apply again in the same category
  • It is the prerogative of the college to charge RS. 25/- per candidate as processing fee for collecting and dispatch of application to NEST office if applications are sent through school/College.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are currently a bonafide student of class 10th, 11th or 12th(science stream only) in any school/college in India are eligible to apply for NEST Junior 2017. In other words, candidates can apply for NEST Junior category of scholarships of this year only if you are appearing in or passing out of class 10th, 11th, or 12th exam in the year 2017. It is advised that candidates read all the eligibility criteria carefully in the as mention before filling application form.

NEST Junior Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2017

The content and level of questions are based on SSC and HSC books prescribed by the CBSE, ICSE and other State boards in India. The test comprises of four sections as given below:

Note – Students of class IX, X, XI, XII (Science) appearing/passing out in 2017 only can apply for NEST Junior 2017.

Grading of Marks: Following is the grading of marks:

Grade A+ From 90% to 100% From 180 to 200 Marks
Grade A 80% and below 90% From 160 to 179 Marks
Grade B+ 70% and below 80% From 140 to 159 Marks
Grade B 60% and below 70% From 120 to 139 Marks
Grade C+ 50% and below 60% From 100 to 119 Marks
Grade C 40% and below 50% From 80 to 99 Marks

Important Information

Amount & Number Of Scholarships: There are at least 20 scholarships of Rs. 25,000/- each to the top 20 scorers (Rs. 50,000/- to Rank #1 in the list).

Certificates: Certificate of Appreciation shall be awarded to all candidates who score aggregate of 40% and above of all the four sections put together in the test.

Prize Distribution: The toppers winning the scholarships shall be felicitated in a gathering presided over by some renowned persons(s) of knowledge and / or enterprise in the last week of October, 2017 (expected) in Mumbai.
