What Is in Fun at Class Party!? (Class 3 Maths Chapter 10)
- Length can be measured with a hand span, a footstep, a pencil or a paper strip.
- These are different for every child, so the same table gives different numbers.
- A thread carries a length from one place to another, as from the table to the door.
- To compare two lengths, start both from the same point. The one that ends later is longer.
- The metre is a fixed length. A metre rod and a metre rope are one metre long.
- Fold a metre rope once and you get a half metre. Fold it again and you get a quarter metre.
