For example, Kathak (Code 056) theory includes a brief history of Indian and Kathak dance, themes of Ramayana/Mahabharata/Gita Govinda in the Kathak context, acquaintance with its repertoire (Rang pravesh, Bandish, thumri, dadra, ghazals), distinctive aspects like ghungrus and chakkars, notation writing for teental and jhaptal, and definitions of Nritta, Nritya, Natya, Tandava, Lasya, Anga, Upanga and Pratyanga.
