What Is New in the Arabic Sample Paper 2027?
Compared with the 2026 sample paper (session 2025-26):
- No change in pattern – same 14 questions in 4 sections (Reading 10, Writing 10, Grammar & Translation 20, Literature 40) with the same per-question marks and choices; the 2027 paper itself states ‘There is no change in the Question Paper Design and Assessment Pattern for Academic Session 2026-27’.
- Section headings in 2027 no longer print the section totals for B, C and D (2026: ‘Writing Skills – 10 Marks’, ‘Grammar & Translation – 20 Marks’, ‘Literature – 40 Marks’).
- Q2 changed: 2026 topics – a visit with the family, the school library, my village, OR letter to a friend inviting him in the holidays; 2027 – my house, the zoo, my teacher, OR letter requesting two days’ leave.
- Q6 grammar options changed: ‘Kaana and her sisters’ (2026) replaced by ‘sound feminine plural’ (2027).
- Q12 heading changed from ‘Choose any four correct answers’ (2026) to ‘Choose the correct answer’ (four items, 4 marks).
- Q14 lessons changed: 2026 – India’s Independence Day, Min Hanaya al-Gharib, Wasf al-Qalam; 2027 – Min Hanaya al-Gharib, Usfur al-Janna, Wasf al-Qalam.

CBSE Class 10 Arabic Marking Scheme 2027 (Solutions)
The 2027 marking scheme gives the answer words for Q1, Q4, Q5, Q7 and Q12, model translations for Q8 and Q9, and textbook lesson/page references for Q10, Q13 and Q14 instead of model answers. It prints mark splits: paragraph content 2, style 1, unity of ideas 1; letter title/greetings 1, style 1, continuity 2; Q6 explanation 3, examples 2; Q10 accuracy 4 + style 1 per passage; Q13 explanation 10, reference to context 5; Q14 content 2, style 1. How to Score Well – Tips from the 2027 Paper
- Literature is half the paper (40 marks) – practise translating the textbook ‘Minhaj al-Talim al-Thanawi’ passages; Q10 and Q11 come straight from its lessons.
- Q13 alone is 15 marks: learn the verses of the poem and give reference to the context (5 marks) besides the explanation (10 marks).
- Master pronouns (attached/detached, cases), dual and sound plurals, kana and its khabar, and number–counted noun agreement – they recur in Q4, Q5, Q6, Q7 and Q12.
- In Q6, give both a clear definition (3 marks) and examples (2 marks).
- Keep the paragraph/letter to about 50 words and organise it – unity and sequence of ideas carry marks.
- Solve the 2027 paper in one sitting with a timer, check it with the marking scheme, then solve the 2026 paper a few days later.
