CBSE Class 10 NCC Syllabus 2027 – Theory & Practical Assessment
Unlike language subjects, NCC has no grammar or literature component. It is assessed through a written theory paper and a practical component that tests drill, camp performance and hands-on cadet skills.
The theory paper assesses conceptual understanding of the Common Subjects along with the chosen Army, Navy or Air Force specialization. The practical assessment evaluates a cadet’s demonstrated ability in drill movements, elementary weapon handling, map reading, field craft and participation in NCC camps and activities.
